You should ideally try our wild salmon with lemon dill sauce for lunch one day. This light yet nutritious meal is loved by all those who have tried it .

This recipe takes only a few minutes to cook and is filled with Omega 3 fatty acids that ensures that no matter how you cook it, the final outcome  will work wonder for your wellbeing . The best part is that being oven cooked the fish does not require too much oil or butter too cook.

You simply need to drizzle a few drops of olive oil or coat it with a thin layer of butter glaze and that would do the trick. Try our recipe and you will realize that it is extremely simple to cook fish.

Ingredients:

Serves: 4

  • 1 ½ lb wild salmon
  • 2 tbsp ghee or clarified butter
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

 

Method:

  • Warm up your oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Grease the base of a 9’’x13’’ baking dish with few drops of coconut oil.
  • Wash the fish and dab with kitchen papers to blot dry.
  • Rub a large pinch of sea salt and ground black pepper all over the fish and lay it out onto the prepared dish.
  • Whisk the chopped dill and lemon zest into the ghee until well combined and spread half of this mixture onto the salmon.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes while checking the doneness at times with a fork; adjust the cooking time according to the thickness of the fish fillet.
  • Spread rest of the ghee mixture on top and smother it with a splash of lemon juice.
  • Sprinkle more dill on top and serve warm.
