Fruit roll-ups are pleasing the sweet cravings during snack time for ages. And its popularity isn’t restricted to kids; even the adults drool over it. Every bite of fruit roll up remind us of our childhood and helps us to relive some special moments spent with our family and loved ones.

Fresh fruits being the core ingredients, all natural fruit roll-ups are packed with nutrients while the absence of any cooking process ensures that those very nutrients are not lost. When it comes to choosing fruits, go for your family favorite and use assorted fruits to leave your family with a wide choice during their roll-up indulgence.

No matter which fruits you choose, make sure you spike up their quotient with a dash of cinnamon to compliment the fruity flavors. And don’ forget to keep a plastic dehydrator within reach. Without it, your whole fruit roll-up making venture will be a total failure. Yields: 6 roll-ups

  • 2 cups strawberries, greens picked and discarded
  • 2 large apples, cored and diced
  • ¼ cup purified water
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon


  • Dump the fruits into a blender and pour in the purified water.
  • Sprinkle the ground cinnamon over them and pulse them into a smooth puree.
  • Spread out this puree onto a teflex sheet and pop them into a plastic dehydrator.
  • Let them dehydrate overnight and peel off the teflex sheet.
  • Flip the fruit roll-up sheet over and continue to dehydrate them for another 6 hours.
  • Cut them into long strips and store them in an air tight container.
  • Chew on one strip or two every time you feel hungry!
