The pumpkin and banana revs up the smoothie with their natural sweetness and receives the zesty complements of pumpkin pie spice. With a splash of coconut milk and apple juice in it, the entire ensemble will remind you strongly of pumpkin pie.

In spite of being high in flavors, this smoothie is easy to whip up, just like most of its counterparts. Simply chuck the ingredients into the blender and whiz them up into a creamy, yummy drink bursting with healthy goodness. Serves: 2

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 whole banana, peeled
  • ½ cup apple juice
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 handful pecans, crushed


  • Empty the cups of pumpkin puree, coconut milk and apple juice into a blender.
  • Break the banana into rough chunks and toss them into the blender.
  • Sprinkle a dash of pumpkin pie spice into them and drop in few ice cubes.
  • Pulse them until smooth and pour the mixture into serving glasses.
  • Scatter the crushed pecans on top of each drink.
  • Serve right away and sip in!
