If you are unable to get your right dose of veggies from your meals, green smoothie could be a great way to eat or rather to ‘sip’ your greens. But it’s very slimy green color makes us go ewwww!! And the idea of drinking the greens makes it more revolting. However, when blended with the right ingredients, your green smoothie can taste much yummier than it actually looks and gives you an opportunity to have assorted veggies at one go. Don’t worry if you find few veggies unpleasing to your palate. A handful of fruits are all you need to disguise their actual flavors and fool your taste buds.

Everyone has their own recipe for green smoothie. While most of them only stick to greens, Drilldoggy loves to add fruits in his version for a delish treat for breakfast. Apart from boosting the flavors, fruits like apple and banana add a creamy texture to the dish, thus making it more enjoyable. However, a good blender is the key to the creamy smoothie.

While a blender with feeble blades will end up chopping up the ingredients instead of blending them into a puree, a heavy-duty one would give it a milkshake-like consistency.
